Although this is the first time Prairie Business has published a list like this, over one hundred companies were nominated and employees completed almost 2,000 surveys.
The list was broken into two categories, small companies with less than 99 employees and large companies with more than 100.
Large companies include 3M, Eide Bailly and First International Bank and Trust.
Click Rain, with 25 employees, made the list of small companies in the region.
“We congratulate all of this year’s honorees,” said Kris Bevill in a Prairie Business article about the list. “From flexible workdays to in-house fitness centers and paid time off for service missions, these employers represent a diverse number of ways businesses can boost their employee recruitment and retention strategies. In an area with extremely low unemployment and rapid economic growth, we’re happy to share their stories and highlight the companies who make employee happiness and well-being a priority.”
Click Rain has been no stranger to awards of this nature. Last fall, Click Rain was named the Best Small Place to Work by the Sioux Falls Business Journal.
“We are honored to be consistently recognized by business publications throughout the region,” said James Krueger, partner and VP of Interactive Services. “It speaks to our high prioritization of culture and keeping that culture strong even as we grow.”
Prairie Business focuses on North and South Dakota and western Minnesota. More information will be available on the businesses in the 50 Best Places to Work list in the September issue.
