Dominos had a huge PR debacle recently, as you probably heard. If you hadn't, you can read about it here. How did Dominos respond? Quickly, succinctly, and using the viral web to get their message out. Dominos corporate has been their toughest critic regarding their response efforts, mentioning several times that they could have acted quicker. I'm not sure any organization can really "plan" for something like this and responding as they did within a day or two seems pretty darn quick, IMHO.
The video below was the response from corporate. The 132,000 views pale in comparison the the number of views the now infamous "booger video" likely got before it was removed from YouTube. Overall, the response from Dominos corporate could have been a bit more genuine. Mr. Doyle is very obviously reading a teleprompter which strips some sincerity, but the tone and message are solid. You can't control what idiot employees do, but you can control how you respond. And for that, Dominos gets an A in my book.
