It's time that you got to know our newest developer, Mr. Bryan Burgers, a little better. Sure, you can stop by our office and meet him face-to-face, or you can just read this handy interview and get to know him from afar. Because the internet is just a little creepy like that sometimes.
Sarah: Tell us a bit about where you're from, Bryan Burgers.
Bryan: Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Though I went off to Dordt College in Iowa for four years and spent a semester abroad in the Netherlands, and after graduating I spent a summer in Switzerland with my brother. But other than that, Sioux Falls nonstop.
Sarah: Did you eat a lot of chocolate in Switzerland?
Bryan: Yes. And it was absolutely better than the chocolate here.
Sarah: Oooh. What's the best American chocolate, in your opinion?
Bryan: It's a toss-up between Dove and Hershey's Nuggets.
Sarah: Yum. And sorry about the tangent. You mentioned a brother -- do you have a family of your own?
Bryan: Yep -- I'm married, and I have a four-month-old daughter. And I actually met my wife at Paul's church.
Sarah: Crazy how connected everyone is here! Speaking of which, I have to ask: Do you drink diet Mountain D --
Bryan: *cuts me off* No.
Sarah: Impressive. And to further compare you to the rest of the Click Rain crew, do you have any tattoos?
Sarah: That makes 92% of Click Rainers who do not have tattoos. Let's try Mac vs. PC.
Bryan: I have never had the opportunity to use a Mac, so by default I am PC user.
Sarah: Droid or iPhone?
Bryan: This is an interesting question. I like to program for my phone, and since I don't have a Mac, I can't program for an iPhone. Still, I plan to get one because I feel it's less hassle.
Sarah: Interesting indeed. Now, do you bike to work?
Bryan: I do have a bike, but I live 25 minutes away, so no.
Sarah: Leaving us with just 23% of us who bike to work. Shifting gears! (Get it?) Favorite foods?
Bryan: Pizza! As kindergarten of an answer as that is. I will try almost any kind of pizza, though my favorite topping is non-burnt pepperoni.
Sarah: That's very specific. Favorite movie?
Bryan: I'll go old-school -- "That Thing You Do."
Sarah: I've never seen it! Who's in it?
Bryan: I... I am terrible with names.
Sarah: Good to know. Any hobbies?
Bryan: I ref soccer, I play adult league soccer, and I watch soccer. Oh, and I recently got suckered into riding on Tour de Kota with Paul and the rest of the Dev Team.
Sarah: Any odd habits?
Bryan: No. I'm entirely normal.
Sarah: That is yet to be seen, my friend. If you were an animal, what would you be?
Bryan: A griffin.
Sarah: The... um, fake animal?
Bryan: The MYTHICAL CREATURE.
Sarah: Normal, he says. Now: why Click Rain?
Bryan: Because I feel like you guys are doing great things in the web world, and I wanted to work with people who are really experts in the online world.
Sarah: First impression of Click Rain?
Bryan: The people here are really friendly, and really good at what they do. Also, you have an AirWolf game, but I haven't gotten to play it yet.
Sarah: What are you most excited about, aside from finally getting to play AirWolf?
Bryan: Creating awesome websites.
