Some of you may know today’s featured Click Rainer as EE. Eric Ellefson grew up in Viborg, South Dakota, a small town outside of Sioux Falls, and attended SDSU in Brookings for business economics. But an interesting fact about Eric is that between his junior and senior years of high school he joined the Air National Guard, of which he has been a part of for 19 years now.
After College, Eric spent time working in both SD’s, South Dakota and San Diego, but eventually family and friends brought him back… along with a serious hunting addiction. In all seriousness, the main reason for his return to Sioux Falls was his now wife Molly who is a nurse in Sioux Falls. The SD’s are not Eric’s only travel adventures—but when most of us think of sun and sand, Iraq and Qatar are not the first destinations that come to mind. Eric spent nearly 2.5 years overseas during 4 different deployments and is looking forward to his first retirement in a little over 2 years.
Eric has 13 years of online and offline marketing experience, and when the opportunity came to get nerdy with Paul and the guys at Click Rain, he jumped at it. "Click Rain is a group of forward thinkers and some of the most innovative minds when it comes to online development,” says Eric. Now a member of the Click Rain crew, Eric’s role as Director of Digital Development finds him thinking up masterful digital strategies for clients while also managing web design and development projects.
