Paul Ten Haken founded the online marketing firm Click Rain in 2008. Since then, the Sioux Falls-based company has grown to more than 20 employees serving more than 100 clients nationwide. Ten Haken, who graduated from Dordt College in 2000, will return to his alma mater to speak at the Business Connections Breakfast on Friday, October 18, at 6:45 a.m. in the Campus Center at Dordt College. His presentation is titled, “Witnessing in the Workplace: Challenges and Opportunities.”
Ten Haken’s presentation is part of Dordt College’s Defender Days, a new event that combines Alumni and Parents Weekend. The breakfast gives business-minded Dordt alumni and friends an opportunity to network together.
Ten Haken says his faith has been a driving force in his work and in his company’s success. Ten Haken has been honored as a Top 10 Emerging Entrepreneur of 2011 by Entrepreneur Magazine. In August, the company made Inc. Magazine’s 5,000 list of fastest growing companies and was named the fastest growing company in South Dakota. Ten Haken’s thoughtful leadership in the digital space earned him a spot in the Google Glass Explorers program as well as recognition from Tumblr and the BBC.
In addition, Click Rain has served high profile clients such as U.S. Senator John Thune, U.S. Congresswoman Kristi Noem, and Avera Health.
