With the ever-growing emphasis on continuing education and online degrees breaking down geographical and financial barriers, the environment of higher education marketing is more competitive now than it has ever been before. With this increased pressure to raise enrollment, the online experience becomes even more important.
On December 11th, 2013, Noel-Levitz, a higher ed consulting and research firm, found that nearly 70 percent of college-bound students view college websites on a mobile device, but only about half of college websites are mobile-friendly. We are happy to announce that the University of Sioux Falls is now one of the 50 percent that are mobile optimized!
Just a day prior to the publication of the Noel-Levitz article, the University of Sioux Falls launched its new mobile site, providing information that prospective undergraduate, degree completion, graduate, and online students are looking for right on their mobile devices. Students can now browse majors, view student testimonials, and request financial, admissions, or campus tour information on their smart phones or tablets.
