Originally from Hartford, South Dakota, Melissa feels right at home in the Sioux Falls area. She received her bachelor’s degree in mass communications (public relations and advertising) from the University of South Dakota, along with an art minor. Her career has since included roles as a programmer, media team manager, and more, first in Sioux Falls and later in Minnesota. Each position has been built on her strengths in visualizing, creating, and adapting plans to reach goals.
The data-driven nature of marketing requires a learn-as-you-go mentality, which is one of the things Melissa loves so much about the field. Her background in web design & development, graphic design, email marketing, marketing strategy, project management, and now paid search, gives Melissa a broader base knowledge than many others in her profession.
