This quick-hit strategy created great brand awareness and started our Lawn & Garden season in full bloom! Thousands of relevant customers and potential customers engaged with the Lewis brand during this kick-off campaign–contributing to year-over-year success.

Our Approach to the Solution

As part of a comprehensive digital marketing campaign, we partnered with four local social media influencers to help promote Lewis's Lawn & Garden products in their Instagram feeds. These influencers have a high number of followers and agreed to share several newsfeed and story posts about specific plants, patio furniture, and grills available at Lewis.

In addition to Lewis products, our influencer partners also promoted a $750 Lewis gift card giveaway, which was presented to one of their local followers at the close of the campaign. This tactic helped generate more engagement in the form of post likes, comments, and shares.

Lewis is a local brand, so we deliberately chose local influencers who could sway regional followers to shop at Lewis, and whose personal brands aligned with Lewis. After establishing clear campaign expectations with each influencer, we also encouraged them to create authentic content and to have fun showing off their updated lawns, gardens, patios, house plants, and grills.
